Turn Your Gear Bag Into a Camera Bag

This removable Camera Insert Kit allows you to convert your existing Gear Bag into a configurable camera bag without purchasing another complete bag.

I've been chasing the right camera storage setup for decades. Most camera bags are different shapes and sizes, and there's always something that doesn't quite fit.

So I designed an insert that could adapt to different equipment while working with my existing storage system.

When you need a camera bag, drop the insert in. When you don't, remove it and use your Gear Bag for something else.

Make It Fit Your Equipment

The insert measures 450 × 330 × 250 mm and includes six padded dividers.

• Four mouldable dividers that can be reshaped around your equipment.
• Two rigid dividers for additional structure and separation.
• Velcro attachment points for changing the layout whenever you need.

I use mine for everything from my Sony FX6 to a 600 mm lens, Canon cameras and action camera equipment.

The extra space means I don't have to cram everything together, making it easier to access gear when I'm in the middle of a shoot.

The Little Things

• Bright red interior: Helps black equipment stand out so it's easier to find.
• Soft brushed polyester lining: Helps protect equipment surfaces from scratches.
• Protective foam padding: Adds cushioning around delicate gear.
• Tough Oxford cloth exterior: Provides a durable outer layer.
• Supportive folding core: Holds its shape during use and collapses for storage.
• Six Velcro discs: Slide the insert into your Gear Bag first, then use the discs to secure it. They can also attach other Velcro-compatible accessories.
• Optional pockets: Compatible with the Zip Pocket and Twin Bungee Pocket accessories when used with the rigid dividers.

If you've got a spare divider, you can also use it underneath equipment for additional cushioning.
